Campo

2012

In 2011, Juan Campodónico created a new musical project called Campo, taking inspiration from global trends and South American music. The band includes singer- songwriter Martín Rivero, electronic musician Pablo Bonilla, VJ and singer Veronica Loza and different collaborators.

Campo's debut album was produced by Campodónico with Gustavo Santaolalla and recorded by Joe Chicarelli, engineer of albums by The Strokes, The Shins and The White Stripes.

The record received nominations for The Grammy Awards, The Latin Grammy and the MTV Europe Awards. Entertainment Weekly choose the song '1987' as one of the '25 songs to download before the Grammys'.
